When I woke up, it was already 8:00, so we didn't hike. But the day was sure nice. We visited with family, had breakfast (about 8 cups of coffee) then head to the park. We rode in the back of a pickup truck, and I dropped my camera. I really think I should be banned from carrying anything with batteries. After saying, "I'll probably drop this thing riding on here..." and being really careful no to, it somehow slipped out of my hand and went bouncing and rolling down the road. But, there was no damage, thank goodness. Yikes...

We spent the rest of the day visiting, eating, watching a picture slideshow, and playing yard games. It was really a fun and relaxing day. A huge thank-you goes out to Margie and Craig for all you hard work - and thanks to the family and friends that helped out!

What's really messing me up is that I'm writing this Sunday morning, and I usually always write in the evening. Last night we headed to Ted Drewes, which is a custard place in St. Louis. All the cousins piled into the van and we head over. We even got 3 sundaes to go on dry ice for grandma, Kandi, and Margie. So yup, I got my ice cream fix – yeah!

Then it was like this: Head downstairs, lay on the bed and fall asleep instantly. Now it's 5:46 am and I'm going to get ready to hike again today. Early - yeesh. I should be used to this by now!! :)
