Well, it took a day, but we've got water scheduled to be dropped. The nice guy we met at the National Guard office gave us a contact for the lady and her son who run mail to Garrison. She (Debra) called, and said she and her son, Jeff would help us out. We bought the water and met her at the store. Jeff will be doing the mail runs, so we might see him twice a day, and he's going to drop our 3 gallons every 20 miles for us! Thank you Debra and Jeff!

The rest of our day was running, well, walking all over to get stuff done. We even went .5 miles down our trail in the process, so why not count it, right? But we probably walked 3 miles total, just by running errands. We went to a general store, and I got a rubber bottom for the walking stick I picked up in the Rockies. We went to the grocery store and picked some extra stuff we need for our next stretch, ate lunch, visited the drugstore where Debra works, did our laundry at the Laundromat, and got our package at the PO!

In our package was a bunch of great stuff. Food, snack bars, TP, instant coffee, cool neck wrap thingies from Jamie & Eric, more Injinji socks (the ones with toes), and... new shoes for Robin! Yay! My soles wore through, got a little tear in it, about 1/2" long, and sand got in there, packed up and caused a couple of really uncomfortable, hard bumps right under the ball of my foot. When we stayed with Bert and Marta, Bert cleaned it out and had some magic glue stuff that held it together until we got here. So I probably got the max miles I could've gotten out of them suckers!

Mom's making dinner on the Jetboil and it's smelling good. We got some extra sleep today, and mom's blisters are healing up a bit with the days' rest. We'll be refreshed tomorrow. We're almost outta' Utah!
